Don't' miss the equipment being demonstrated in the three outside areas which Case has taken in partnership with Comamoter, Iveco and Astra.
SAMOTER 2005 is the occasion for Case to show the on-going development of its product line as the company presents its latest models and seeks to further strengthen its position in the Italian market:
- 400-Series skid steer loaders
- Series-2 backhoe loaders
- Extended telescopic handler range
- The latest Tier 2 compact wheel loaders
- CX230 crawler excavator
- WX95 and WX125 midi-wheeled excavators
Replacing the current XT models, the superior design features of the latest 400-Series skid steer loaders reflect the long standing commitment of Case to customer values such as low cost of ownership, outstanding operator comfort and, of course, productivity.
Low cost of ownership is thanks to smart design features: a patented, 4-point linkage uses the chassis to support the loader arms when in a digging position, reducing stress and improving durability; hydraulic pumps directly coupled to the engine help prevent power loss and costly belt maintenance; the industry-exclusive, easy-tilt ROPS - providing "no tools", 10 second access - ensures that these models are both easy and cost-effective to maintain. No-one makes service access easier than Case.
Operator comfort is maximised with low-effort, servo-assisted controls and (optional on all models) "Ride Control", Case being the first in the industry to offer this feature on skid steer loaders. Visibility to the bucket and tyres is unobstructed and push-button activation of auxiliary hydraulics and a foot throttle make operation even easier. Optional heat and air conditioning provide superior comfort in any weather.
The 400 Series range comprises 6 models: four radial lift – 410, 420, 430, 440 (on display) and two vertical lift models – 435 and 445 (on display). The 430 and 435 will demonstrated outside.
The vertical, heavy-lift geometry featured on the 435 and 445, which replace, respectively, the 75XT and 85XT, offers the industry's highest lift capacity. For lifting heavy pallets of bricks, heavy straw bales or for precision loading of trucks or trailers, these machines are ideal.
The other models in the range feature conventional (radial) lift geometry. All models are powered by the latest, high performance, Case Family III engines which are Tier 2 emissions complaint. Known for their efficiency and reliability, they have 30% fewer parts than competitive designs, for added reliability and ease of repair.
Power ratings (net) are: 410 – 49 hp (37 kW); 420 – 56 hp (42 kW); 430 – 74 hp (55.2 kW);
435 – 72 hp (54 kW); 440 – 82 hp (61.1 kW); 445 – 74 hp (55.2 kW).
Operating loads: 410 – 681 kg; 420 – 794 kg; 430 – 908 kg; 435 – 1043 kg; 440 – 998 kg and 445 – 1134 kg. With the exception of the 410, all models can be equipped with high-flow hydraulics, offering maximum attachment versatility.
Backhoe loader is a term which is synonymous with the Case name as the world N°1 backhoe loader manufacturer, with more than 500 000 units produced to date; a product line that Case has continued to develop and refine in line with its customers' expectations.
Already successful in the market, the R-Series sees the latest developments in the form of the new Series 2. The latest Series 580SR Series 2 "Pilot" model will be on display. The Series 2 sees the re-introduction of the forward-opening engine hood, a Case "signature", providing unparalleled ease of access for service checks and maintenance.
The Series 2 also offers, as standard, a semi-mechanical quick coupler, making bucket pick-up quick and easy whilst preserving the breakout force. With no intermediate pins, this coupler system is also better suited to hammer applications. Case backhoe loaders are also available with the latest, low-effort and infinitely adjustable "pilot" controls on the backhoe attachment for smooth, precise and effortless operation.
Strengthening its telescopic handler range, Case is now proposing 8 versions around its 3 base models, demonstrating it is a very serious player in this growing market. The latest additions are the 13 m, 3.3 tonne lift capacity TX130-33 (on display in the outside area) and 3.0 tonne lift capacity TX130-30.
With the introduction of these new models, Case is offering a broader choice to its customers, these 13 metre models being destined for the house building sector in particular.
Both are available with either turbo or naturally aspirated engines. Completing the range, all equipped with turbo engines: TX130-40, TX130-43, TX130-45, the 14 m reach TX140-43 and TX140-45 and the 17 m reach TX 170-45. The new model designations differentiate the basic characteristics of the machine: 0 denotes without stabilisers; 3 denotes narrow stabilisers and 5 denotes large stabilisers.
The latest D-Series compact wheel loaders are on display in the form of the 321D. With a 1.1 m3 bucket capacity, the 331D is powered by a turbo-charged unit developing 56 kW / 75 hp. (321D).
The 321D features a newly designed cab with excellent visibility and an "operator-friendly" layout of controls and switches. The main, low effort, improved appearance, control joystick and auxiliary lever now move together, further improving operator comfort.
Don't miss the latest "ZTS" (Zero Tail Swing) mini-excavators. The Case mini-excavator range now comprises 9 models, from 1.52 t to 4.87 t, seven of which are short radius, with two conventional models – CX16B and CX18B – completing the range. Presented on the stand, the CX31B and the largest model, CX50B. The CX18B and CX36B will be demonstrated outside.
The choice of equipment and attachment selection for Case mini-excavators guarantee their customers maximum versatility and maximum machine utilisation.
